Project Overview
Prepared4x is an ecommerce survival tool company with over 1 million in annual revenue.
They sought a fractional marketing manager in April 2021, Erin joined team.
Over 5 months Erin was able to help position the CEO to gain trusted investors to raise capital through brand management, social media influencer campaigns, and business development strategy. Through these efforts the entrepreneur was able to launch several other P4X branded products and get business offers.
Read on to discover how she developed a brand story, assessed the company verticals, and pushed social media content to gain the trust and knowledge of the survival social media influencers.
Approach
This engagement was approximately 4 months long and was a monthly retainer.
The first initial approach to this engagement was to establish a Brand Guideline and Voice Guide that allowed influencers, and the marketing team, to curate content for the brand. These tools allow creators to make content that gets approved by the brands much quicker and with less edits.
After we established voice and brand guidelines, we engaged external teams to assist on social media and ad strategy where I over saw and project managed the team. This allowed the CEO to remain focused on exploring new manufactures and verticals.
The remaining time was spent posting social content, monitoring Google ads, and assisting the CEO in documenting other business initiatives such as eBooks. Lastly, working closely with the operations manager to listen how sales and pushes were going to optimize content around products that they wanted to move.
Results
The CEO was able to seek M&A companies out to explore potential buyout options. In addition, he also was able to develop and launch new products during this time. The platform research for social media influencers allowed them to reach new audiences and grow their reach.
